I got two nights for the price of one through Low Rate Search and Hotwire! I'm a consultant who travels frequently and just completed a trip to Reston, VA for a Microsoft Training Class. For anyone who's been to Reston, anything above a Motel 6 can easily cost you over $200 a night or more.
I booked the hotel on a Saturday and paid $299.54 for TWO NIGHTS at a 3 1/2 star hotel (the Milennium Hotel). An Excellent Hotel, with wonderful food, and great service less than 5 minutes from my class - door to door! I booked the two nights planning to drive to VA on Tuesday, the morning of the class.
At the last minute I decided to give my brain a rest and arrive the night before so I wouldn't be trying to learn SQL on little to no sleep. On Sunday night, it was too late to get a deal for Monday so I called the Hotel directly for a Monday arrival.
My cost for ONE NIGHT, without LowRateSearch, after much discussion, cost me $293.45! And that's with a Triple A discount!
